Deterministic Wallet Addresses

Derived from your EVM signature — same key always produces the same addresses

Connect your WTX EVM wallet to auto-generate payout addresses for all merge-mined chains.

Your EVM private key signs a fixed message. The signature becomes entropy for BIP32 derivation — you can always re-derive the same addresses from the same wallet. Nothing is sent to any server.

How Address Derivation Works

  1. You connect your EVM wallet (MetaMask, WTX EVM, or any Web3 wallet).
  2. You sign the message "WATTx Merged Mining Wallet Derivation v1". This is a read-only signature — no transaction, no gas, no funds moved.
  3. The 65-byte signature is hashed with keccak256 to produce a 32-byte master seed.
  4. A BIP32 HD wallet is derived from that seed. Each chain gets its own BIP44 derivation path (e.g. m/44'/0'/0'/0/0 for BTC).
  5. EVM chains (ALT, OCTA, WTX) use your connected address directly — no separate key needed.
  6. XMR uses Ed25519 derivation: the spend key is derived from keccak256(seed ∥ "XMR") reduced mod the ed25519 group order.
